Gluten-Free Dining Guide to Park City, Utah
Park City, Utah, is not only a fantastic destination for skiing and outdoor adventures but also a surprisingly accommodating place for those seeking gluten-free dining options. This guide highlights some of the best gluten-free friendly restaurants in Park City, ensuring a delicious and safe culinary experience.

I’ve been out to Park City for ski trips four times now (plus once in the summer for a conference) and have been feasting at Park City gluten free - friendly places for just as long. We’re nearing the end of ski season this year so I wanted to recap my Park City ski trip for you guys! Also already bought a pass for multiple mountains for next year, so this list will definitely be getting a lot of use going forward.
Harvest
Harvest is a cute little cafe at the end of the main street in Park City, and I’d highly recommend you make a stop here at some point for breakfast, lunch, or brunch on your trip. It’s an Australian, farm-to-table style concept in a small little restaurant that gets very crowded pretty much all the time, but it’s totally worth the wait. Loved this place! Highly recommend. Know that they don’t take reservations, but the wait is worth it!
Tutta Bella
Gluten free pizza and pasta options 🙂 Great casual family style atmosphere, great wine and food, great servers, and the price is great! I had the Tutabella pizza (GF) the first time and on our next trip, the special chicken pesto pasta, which were both awesome. Family loved the chicken pesto and pasta with sausage. Finished with the dark chocolate sorbet, topped off with the optional (but DELICIOUS) extra virgin olive oil and grey sea salt. Great place! BUT. Either get their early or be prepared to wait - it gets crowded fast!
High West Distillery & Saloon

High West Distillery and Saloon: Tastemakers of Park City, Utah
Dead Man’s Boots - really strong! High West Lemonade (with vodka) - also strong, but great flavors! GF option - High west signature burger (bison/beef) with caramelized onion, subbed the roasted carrot, parsnip and celeriac for the side. This is an amazing combination. The burger was cooked perfectly, if you’re squeamish about having red/pink in the middle I would order it a little more well done than you usually would. You get a chunk of caramelized onions that are succulent and delicious. Two orders of the High Country Chicken pot pie with wild mushrooms + root vegetables. Really good reviews - they said it wasn’t as heavy as normal chicken pot pies are. Great comfort food after a hard day on the slopes!
Grub Steak Restaurant
Came here on recommendation from yelp. The salad bar wasn’t “absolutely stellar” as many have said, but it is very good and does have many options. We all REALLY enjoyed our food. Only tip I would say is if you like your steaks a little more done, order the elk sirloin one level of doneness up from what you usually do. It’s a very lean meat. I usually get medium, and I ordered medium-well. It’s a LOT of food, so come hungry or take home leftovers. Don’t skip out on dessert! The servers were great. At one point we were all laughing so hard at whatever our conversation was, my mom and brother were both crying - so they did give us some funny looks, but made jokes about it.
Collie's Sports Bar & Grill
This was a new spot we hit on our trip this year - we had intended to go to Bandit’s (a BBQ place specializing in ribs that we’d gone to our three trips previously, only to find that it had closed!) so decided to keep with the sports bar/BBQ theme. We had all been craving ribs from talking about Bandit’s, and fully planned to order them at Collie’s…only to find out that they were all out of ribs. First world problems…but the burgers we all got ended up being delicious. I had the breakfast burger, which was easy to do gluten-free, with some coleslaw and veggies on the side. Cool atmosphere and great options on the menu for everyone…but honestly, underwhelming for me (though good for the fam - so we had a mixed experience).
Handle Park City
Gluten free, veggie and vegan options all marked! 3/4 dishes we had here were good - only the blue cheese and bacon burger fell flat. Pretty sure they had cooked up a bunch of burgers earlier in the day and just reheated this one, but it wasn’t hot at all when it got to the table the first time…or the second after we sent it back. I had the burger with bourbon-garlic caramelized onions + bacon and side salad with cilantro-lime vinaigrette, which was good! Really cool place downtown for burgers, bar food, and happy hour. It gets crowded during peak hours, but there is also a heated rooftop if you want to go up there! Know that even though it’s a restaurant, no one under 21 is allowed in. Sorry, kiddos! We actually only came here for happy hour, and I had a paloma, which was delicious.
Yuki Yama Sushi
Not a ton of GF options here (I know, strange for a sushi place) but the two things I did have, I loved. Wish I had brought some coconut aminos, since my stomach really hates even GF soy sauce. BUT. The special Sweet Baby Jesus roll was amazing, and I had a cucumber and salmon roll with avocado that was really good too. Really cool place on main street.
Atticus Coffee & Teahouse
I love a good used book shop (or honestly, any place with books) - and this place not only has books, but tons of fun gag-style gifts, coffee, tea, smoothies, and baked goods.
Five5eeds
Holy Moly. Been here three times over two trips now, and it has always far exceeded my expectations.
Places to avoid
I’m only putting this one here because I want you to remember not to go there. It was a really underwhelming experience, so even though they have a 100% GF menu, it’s not worth it. There are so many other good places in town! Nothing really had much taste.
Utah Olympic Park

Really cool place. Definitely do the tour - I don’t remember our guide’s name, but he was hilarious. Went to the top of the facility and got to see the international athletes getting ready for Sochi (when we were there before the 2018 Olympics) on the skeleton track, which was really cool! You also get to go to the middle of the track and watch as they fly by, go to the top of the ski jumps, and hear how the athletes train year round at the different facilities. The museum is really cool too. AND if you want the full-on experience, you can even go bobsledding while you’re there!
Red Iguana
Found this place through Food Network the first time we came out to Park City and I have been back there four times since. Three times with the fam, and once while out at a nutrition conference in the spring a few years ago. There are now THREE locations because the place has gotten so dang popular (and with good reason!) Both Red Iguana 1 and Red Iguana 2 are amazing. Haven’t tried the new one yet. Plan when you go. One time, we got in around 11:30am on a Saturday after our flight, which was perfect timing. There was a line out the door by noon! We all started with margaritas and palomas (delicious)! The salsa and chips are fantastic. I had the cochinita pibil (shredded pork) with plantains again, because it was too good not to get!! Other table favorites were the huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and huevos montulenos. Love that they have gluten-free markings on the menu too. Special shoutout to the cochinita pibil.
