Where to Find the Best Thin Crust Pizza in Jerusalem
Finding the perfect pizza can be a personal quest. Just like hummus and falafel in the Middle East, everyone has their favorite pizza place, and agreeing on the best one is nearly impossible. This selection is a personal one, based on criteria such as a nice crispy base, good-flavored sauce, and fresh, gooey cheese. If you're on the hunt for the best thin-crust pizza in Jerusalem, here are a few places to consider.

Pizzerias Serving Delicious Thin-Crust Pizza
Craft Pizza
Craft Pizza is a pizza restaurant in town serving traditional Neopolitan-style pizza with a lovely sourdough base and flavorful sauce. Some interesting toppings include grilled zucchini, beetroot, kalamata olives, pineapple, and chili, with a great spicy salsa on the side.
Pizza by Chakra
A pizzeria owned by Chakra’s owners, Pizza by Chakra, serves classic pizzas. The menu features side salads and Italian desserts, including tiramisu and affogato.

Anthony’s Pizza
Here is Anthony’s Pizza English menu, a Roman-style pizza restaurant near the Iriah in the City Center. Individual pizzas are 35 cm in diameter, and slices are also available. The menu includes a variety of white-based pizza, red-based pizza, salads, and desserts. They have some seating inside and outside, but it has a very takeaway feel.
La Piedra
As well as enjoying the pizza at La Piedra, I also like the salads, which are perfect to share along with the pizza. The menu also includes fresh homemade pasta. It is a nice and cozy place for dinner.
Pizzeria Flora
The expression not judging a book by its cover really applies to this store. I walked past so many times without being tempted to try the pizza until a friend told me I had to, and I couldn’t believe how good it was. They have round and rectangular pizza pies with a crispy base and some great flavor toppings. The original Pizzeria Flora branch near the shuk has a fun atmosphere and good food. The traditional Neapolitan pizza is available with a selection of fixed toppings, including my favorite portobello mushrooms, champignon & truffle oil. You can also build your own pizza with classic toppings, as well as more interesting options like zucchini, garlic confit, blue cheese, asparagus, and a soft-boiled egg.

How to make Neapolitan Pizza Dough
P2
P2 serves Italian thin-crust pizza in the heart of Jerusalem and offers gluten-free pizza. Other interesting dishes include Panzanella salad, calzone, and gnocchi.
Pizza Bianca
I really like the crispy base of the traditional Rome-style square pizza, and I particularly love their pizza Bianca with potato and rosemary. They also serve homemade pasta, gnocchi, lasagne, and Italian desserts.
Chili Pizza
Chili Pizza has been around for several years. The fast-food place serves a traditional range of toppings to satisfy non-kosher consumers, such as ham and pineapple, pepperoni and cheese, bacon and eggs, and spicy beef and sweetcorn. They have ready-made pizzas by the slice and but the freshly made individual pizzas are much better, although I find the base undercooked. Delivery 7 days a week. Order online.
